Olivia Six Week Update

Olivia Update 6 Weeks

Well over Christmas our little lady has grown and grown she does so much now. It's strange but we have been so busy over the last month we have hardly noticed the changes. We both sat down the other day and realised how much more she was doing.

Whats New In Olivia's Life ?

She has given both me and Mummy smiles (and not windy smiles) 

She makes regular noises when interested in something.  

She kicks her legs out and attempts to stand.

She follows you, with her eyes, around the room.

She gets bored and usually wants us to talk to her or to go under the play arch.

She likes to hold her head as far back as humanly possible.

Beginning to be interested in her toys.

She is in 0-3 month cloths now.

Routine 

Wakes up 7.30/8 am

Stays awake until about 10am

Wakes for bottle at about 12.30pm

Stays awake dosing in between until 3

After bottle sleeps until 4/4.30

Then is happy until about half 6

Then she has her bath and bottle after

Evenings are a bit here and there she has small feeds and plenty of them

Then come about 10pm she is interested in a bottle and then sleep.   

Caught her having a startled moment !

Olivia had her six week check today and she was 100% Fighting fit. The Doctor was surprised how alert and aware she is and stunned how strong she was. The doctor was checking her hips and Missy moo was kick out at her (I don't blame her they are not gentle)

Her Stats are !

Weight 10lb 5oz    (50th centile)

Length 57 1/2 cm     (75th centile)

Head Circumference 38 cm     (75th centile)

We are so in Love with Olivia, she is the most amazing creation in the world. We are bonding day by day but it is difficult for me because I work. I get home and tend to take the boys off Katy's hands as they have usually been pains in the bottoms. This works well for us but it does mean I do not usually get much time with Olivia one on one. I look forward to bath time as I will sit at Olivia's end and we can get some one on one.
